Join George Maestri for an in-depth discussion in this video The Render Settings menu, part of Maya 2015 Essential Training.
…Now let's dive into rendering.…We're going to start with the render settings window, which…is where you set most of your rendering parameters.…Now we can get to this window in one of two places.…We can go into Window > Rendering Editors > Render Settings, or the…easier way to do this is to just hit this button in the interface.…Now this brings up the render settings window.…Now we've touched on this briefly but lets…go through this in a little bit more detail.…So the first tab here tells us which renderer we're using.…
So we can use the Maya's software renderer or any other renderer that we have loaded.…And when we do that these tabs change.…So if I go to say my hardware 2.0.…Or metal ray, you will see the tabs change a bit.…Now all of these renderers have a common tab.…And this controls the main rendering parameters.…So we have color management, where you can set color spaces if you want.…And more importantly is file output.…
We can give our.…Cede a name.…If we wanted to we could call it, say, name or something like that.…
