Proximity wrapping

- Hi, I'm George Maestri. Today we going to look, at Maya's new proximity wrap, which allows you to take a low resolution mesh or cage and use it to drive high resolution geometry. Now, this is great for things where you have really detailed characters. And you need to drive them efficiently. So a lot of times it makes sense to have a low resolution version of the character, such as this, and use that to drive the higher resolution model. Now, if you can think about it, it's much easier to skin and manipulate something like this than it would be like this. So a lot of times we use the lower resolution version as a proxy, and then, bring in the higher resolution later. So right now I've got a low resolution mesh, a high resolution mesh I also have a bracelet which we will use later. Now the high resolution mesh has already been moved off but if I want to, I can zero out the translations and everything should snap into…
