Join Ryan Kittleson for an in-depth discussion in this video Posing with transpose tools , part of Digital Creature Creation in ZBrush Photoshop and Maya.
The Transpose tools in ZBrush are very useful for posing.…You can select which parts of the body you want to move and then insert a…Transpose Manipulator.…When you rotate the manipulator, it bends the joint, kind of like a bone…underneath muscle and skin.…It just requires getting used to a few new tools and procedures.…So let's learn how to do it.…We are going to load two Exercise Files in this movie;…first the unposedmodel.…So let's go to File > Open and let's navigate to our Exercise Files > Ch_10 >…Folder 10_03, all right, I am just going to hit F to zoom out.…
Now let's load in the posed ZSpheres.…Go to the Tool palette and load in the posedzspheres.…Now let's go back to the first model we brought in.…We need to append the posedzspheres to that tool.…So let's go to SubTool and click Append and bring in the posedzspheres. All right!…Go ahead and select your main Dewhopper body and we don't need to see any of the…other SubTools right now.…So I am just going to hide all of these so that we just see the ZSpheres and the body.…
