…As you just saw, the Rotate and the Scale tool use a pivot in order to operate.…Now, many times we'll have to set the pivot of the…object in order for it to rotate the way that we want.…Let's take a look at the wheels on this wagon.…Now, the wheels are actually composed of two objects.…If I just use my Select tool, I can select this tire.…And you can see I have a separate tire, and then a separate mag wheel.…So, if I select the tire and hit E to rotate it, you'll notice that…the rotation is circular, and so that pivot is centered.…
But I've set up the mag wheel itself a little bit off,…so you can see how the pivot point is not centered to this.…So if I were to rotate this, you can see is doesn't…rotate around its axle, which is what we really want to happen.…So, I am going to go ahead and Undo this.…And we are going to set the pivot point for this mag wheel.…We can do that in one of two ways.…Probably the easiest way is just to use a hot key.…And that's the D key.…So if I hit the letter D and hold it down, you'll notice how my gizmo changes.…
