MASH: Reproductions and instances: Maya: Motion Graphics Workflow with MASH

In this video Scott explains the two different fundamental ways that Mash networks are built. In this course we have primarily been working with Mash Repro geometry. Mash can also build its networks using Maya’s native instancer node. The instancer node method is advantageous when dealing with higher polygon counts as it keeps only one of each object in memory. Scott shows you an example of reaching the real-time playback limit of the Repro node and how to switch an already created Mash network between the two different types of under-the-hood Mash setups.
