The first step in using Maya Fur is to enable the Fur plug-in.…It's actually not enabled by default.…What you want to do is go into…the Window menu and choose Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager.…And in the Plug-in Manager you want to enable Fur.mll.…Turn on the Loaded switch, and also the Auto Load…switch, so that the next time you load Maya the…Fur plugin will be enable and check if it's actually been enabled.…
You can go into the Rendering menu set, and you should see a Fur menu now.…
