In this video Scott shows you how to use the Mash Audio node. The Mash Audio node allows for the easy creation of audio reactive 3D geometry. Scott shows you how to build a simple Mash network and use the Mash Audio node to drive the animation of the objects in the Mash network with a sound file. Scott shows you how to import a sound file into Maya and properly set up Maya's preferences for sound playback. We introduce the Mash Spring node which we use in this example to smooth out any jitter typically associated with audio-reactive animation to create a smooth audio-driven effect.
