How to set up shaders

- [Voiceover] In this video we're gonna show you how to start to set up your MASH networks to render properly and the primary thing we're gonna focus on is vertex colors because we've been using these a lot in our different examples and it's a great way to get some good color and color variation in a really graphic, stylized way on objects, but that stuff just doesn't pipe in your shaders, you can't just attach a shader and then that information travels to them. It's a little deceiving 'cause we can see it in the viewport but we need to do some more manual work to make that happen. Now this is renderer specific. Maya software inherently will not render vertex colors. Mental ray will, V-Ray will, other renderers wil with the use of other vertex color utility nodes. So I'm gonna show you how to set that up properly. So first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna create three different materials for the three different MASH networks that we have going on here.
