How to set up shaders: Maya: Motion Graphics Workflow with MASH

In this video Scott shows you how to create the necessary connections between Mash objects and your shaders to be able to render vertex colors with your renderer. In this example we use Mental Ray but the same principles apply to other renderers and their respective vertex color nodes. Using the Node Editor Scott shows you how to manually wire up the vertex color nodes between your geometry and your shaders so color information generated in Mash flows properly to the renderer.
