- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri and today we're going to take a look at the Arnold Renderer for Maya 2017. Now, if you've been a Maya user for a while you'll know that everything's changed with Maya 2017 and now we have Arnold. And so, there's been a lot of confusion as to how to best use Arnold. So I'm going to go through just some of the basic render settings of Arnold and just show you how to get the most out of the renderer and how to get a clean render without too much overhead. Now here we have a basic scene, and if I want I can go into my Render Settings. And I've got under Arnold Renderer, I've got all the defaults applied. Now this particular render will take a little bit of time, it just depends on what flavor of system you have. But I'm just going to go ahead and do a quick render here.
