Duplicating rivets along a path
Now we have the stage set for creating a series of evenly spaced rivets. We're going to be using some animation features to get this done. Now it might not make sense why at first. But once you see how it works, you'll want to use this technique all of the time. So just to pick up where we left off, you can see that inner scene, we've got a rivet and then we've got a curve that snap to the surface of our air intake. So to get this done, we want to select that rivet and then we also want to select the curves, I'm going to hold on Shift. You might have trouble clicking on it because that air intake is in the way. What I'm going to do is turn off Polygon Selections for the moment and now we can Shift+Click that curve. Okay, let's go into the Animation menu set. I'm actually just going to use the Hot Box by holding down the spacebar. Actually we can't see it on the screen right now when I move my cursor off a little bit.
