…When we play back the simulation we will see that the door sort of stops, as if…there were some limit on the constraint, but we haven't deposed any limits yet.…The reason this is happening is because the default friction is one,…and that friction actually applies to the constraints.…To work around this what we'll do is just select the door.…And go into the channel box and give it a friction of zero.…Rewind and…play that back, and now you'll see that door swings around pretty much endlessly.…We can also play with the bounce factor, which is restitution.…
Let's select a door, the ball, and the ground plane,…and give them all a restitution or bounce of 0.5, rewind to play that back.…Now we have a little bit more interesting result.…The other thing we want to look at is the mass of the objects.…And if the ball, for example,…has a high mass relative to the door, then the door will get pushed more by the ball.…I'll select the ball and scroll in the channel box looking for…mass, and I can increase that.…
