Become familiar with mixing between multiple motion clips using Maya’s new Time Editor. In this video, George takes multiple motion clips and shows the various ways to mix between them. He overlays two clips, then shows how to create a transition between two clips. He goes over ways to manage this process.
- [Voiceover] Now let's take a look at how…to do transitions between clips in the Time Editor.…Now I have four clips here,…I have one clip for the red plane,…on for the blue plane…and then two clips for the green plane.…And these clips are actually matching red and blue,…so let's just take a look at this.…So I'm actually going to mute some tracks here,…so I'm going to mute the blue plane,…and this bottom track here,…which is called green plane one.…
And when I do that, you'll see that,…the top track, green plane,…matches the one for the red plane.…So these two are equivalent.…And if we look at the opposite here,…if I mute red and that first green plane track,…you'll see that the green plane one…track matches the blue plane.…So basically, I've got this track here,…which matches the red plane,…and this track here,…which matches the blue plane.…Now if I turn both of these on,…and don't mute either of them,…you'll see that when I have one over the other,…that green plane will actually split…the difference between red and blue.…
