Create simple hair using XGen

- Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today we're going to take a look at how to do simple hair in XGen. So the basic process is really simple. So let's go ahead and start off with this head, and so we want to put hair on top of this head; but the thing about XGen is that sometimes it's hard to control where the hair goes. So what I find it's easier to do is to just create a separate piece of geometry and basically make a wig for the character. So what I have here is a second layer. I have a cap layer here; and if we turn that on, you can see I've got this little cap that we can use to place our hair. And so I'm going to go ahead and turn my character's head layer into templates so that way we can just work with the cap. So once you have a cap modeled, all you have to do is add in an XGen system. So we can find that easily. You should have an XGen shelf, and then the first button here is open the XGen window. So what we want to do is create a new description.
