Binding hotkeys
- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we saw some of the most common commands for graphing and displaying Shader networks. Now let's talk about binding hotkeys to some of those commands because we're going to need to use those quite a lot. So for example, one of the most common commands is to graph the input and output connections. I've got my browser attached here to the hypershade window. In the Materials tab, I'll select the dancer_StSF material and click Input and output connections and we see the entire Shader Tree displayed. There's no keyboard shortcut for Rearrange Graph which is something we need to do constantly. There's also no keyboard shortcut to toggle the size of the icons and there's also no keyboard shortcut to frame all in the graph. We could frame selections, and that's a Maya global hotkey. So if I select a couple of nodes and press the F key, it will zoom in to frame those too, but if I select…
