- Now, if you want to follow along with your own model, be sure that you have a model that's well built. A few of the things you want to look for is you want to make sure that the model is, pretty much, all quads. And that the topology is well located so that you have plenty of room to move the vertices and animated the character's shape. Now, in this course we're going to have separate objects for the eyes and the teeth. Now, you may be animating your mouths a little bit differently using blend shapes, but everything should sync up otherwise.
Now, I must tell you that this is not a beginners rigging course. I want to make sure that you understand the basics of character rigging as well as expressions. Because we are going to be using those in the course. We're also going to be using things such as the node editor. Now, if you're not familiar with that, we have plenty of courses on rigging that can help get you up to speed. So let's go ahead and get started.
