Arnold render settings

- [Instructor] If you want to render high quality images in Maya, you'll probably want to consider Arnold, which is Maya's new photo realistic renderer. Now, we're going to go through some of the basics of Arnold, but before we do that, let's just take a look at Arnold's render settings. Now we can find this in the render settings window here, and I want to make sure that I'm using the Arnold renderer. Now, we have a number of different tabs for Arnold, and the main one is the Arnold renderer tab. Now, the first tab here is the sampling of the image. So, sampling basically determines the quality of the image. So, if you're doing basic tests, you may want to turn this down to zero or one, and then we can also sample on a per channel basis. So we can sample on diffuse, specular, and so on. Now, typically, for photo realistic rendering you want to keep this at two or above.
