Apply textures from Substance to Maya
- [Instructor] So I'm here in the video start file. What we want to do in this particular video is to show you how to export all of the texture information out of Substance and then reapply it back into Maya using Arnold. So to do that, we'll first start by going to File, and Export Textures. A dialog box will come up for how you're going to export your documents, and we also want to make sure a couple settings are where they should be. The first thing I want to do is go to the Configuration Tab. Now in here, you'll see a lot of different options for how to export the textures that you've created. There's Arnold four with a bunch of difference surfaces. There's Arnold five, which is what we're using right now. There's Corona, there's Keyshot, there's PBR MetalRoughness, there's Unity, Unreal, so it is pretty much preset for a lot of different render engines and real time engines for video games.
