…In Maya we can also animate our objects using paths.…Now a path is basically just a NURBS curve.…So here I have our object, as well as a NURBS curve, and if I right-click on…this and select Control Vertex, you can see how it's basically just a CB curve.…Now we attach objects to paths by selecting the object and then the path.…So I'm going to select my main node of my spaceship, Shift select my path.…
Now the path should be green which means it's the last selected.…And then under Animate, go Motion Paths > Attach to Motion Path.…And when I do, there it goes.…Now what it's done is it's actually used the length of my timeline, which…is 48 frames, and you can kind of see that here, see from 0 to 48.…And it's animated my spaceship along that path.…But it looks like my spaceship is kind of going sideways here.…So if you take a close look at that, it's not…following that path exactly the way that I intended it to.…Well, we can actually change this by going into the attributes for that motion path.…So I'm going to select my spaceship main node, go into…
