Animate with Walk Cycle Control

- [Instructor] Hi, I'm George Mastry, and today is animation day. We're going to take a look at a nifty little plugin that will help you to manage walk cycles, as well as other types of repetitive animation. Now, this tool is actually a bonus tool, so make sure you download and install the Maya 2017 bonus tools, and you should be able to find it under Bonus Tools, Animation, Walk Cycle Control. Now, before we get to this, let's take a look at this simple character. Now, for this exercise, we're going to keep it simple. We're only going to have three points that we're animating. So, my character actually has a body here that I can move up and down or back and forth, as well as a left and a right foot. So each one of these can be animated. Now, I decided to keep it simple for this, so we're not going to be animating arms, but you can certainly do it with that plugin. So, let's go ahead and actually load up our plugin here.
