Examine the Bifrost structure in the Node Editor.
- [Voiceover] There's something in our scene now,…we can examine the anatomy of a Bifrost Simulation.…Let's do that from the Outliner first.…Go into Windows, Outliner.…At the top of the Ouliner list…are all the objects that I provided in the scene.…Scroll down to the bottom and you will see…the newly created Bifrost nodes.…Depending upon which version of Maya you're running,…you may see something different here.…If you're using a version before 2016, extension 2,…then you will see a different node structure…than you see here.…
And what Autodesk have done with Maya 2016, extension 2…is split out all the various Bifrost attributes…into separate nodes.…So you'll see that we have Liquid Properties…separate from the Imiter,…separate from the actual domain or container node.…Each one of these is actually inside a node type…which is technically known as a Bifrost container.…It used to be that the container was the global solver node.…
Now almost everything is a container.…And the containers can serve many functions.…This is all done in order to provide a formal flexible…
