Ambient occlusion pass
- [Instructor] Now that we have our main rendering setting setup, we can start to create our render passes. Now, render passes are basically just additional renders that we can use to enhance the final image. We're going to start off with an ambient occlusion pass, which is just generally an overall lighting pass, and we can use it to increase or decrease contrast. And we're going to do this in the render setup window. Now we can find this under Windows, Rendering Editors, Render Setup, or it's also right here next to the Hyper Shade button. And it's this one here. So I'm going to open this up, and this window has two main panels. One is render setup. The other is property editor. So what we want to do here is create what are called layers in this bottom portion of the left-hand pane.
