- [Instructor] Carrying on from the previous movie, I've got the Hypershade window open, and I've got Arnold running in the perspective viewport here. Now let's assign a chrome-like material to the end defector, or the head at the end of the robot arm. Over in the Hypershade, I'm just going to click in the graph to select nothing, and minimize all of the nodes by clicking on the button labeled Hide Attributes on Selected Nodes. And just push those out of the way with Alt and middle mouse button. Let's now create a new Arnold standard surface material. From the Hypershade menu, choose Create, Arnold Shader Surface, AI Standard Surface. And select that material node, and let's rename it chrome_aistsf. Press Enter, we also want to rename the shading group. So select that name, and copy it with Ctrl + C, select the shading group node, and paste in that name, Ctrl + V, and add an underscore, and the capital letters SG. And…
