Organizing the Object Manager

Organizing the Object Manager

- [Instructor] With all the objects imported into our scene we should now take the time to tidy up the object manager and keep ourselves organized throughout the project. For this, we will simply use grouping. Now, let's start by multi-selecting holder A and B along with the hand crafted text object. And then use either the shortcut or the context menu to group the objects. Now, I'll name this group Knife Holder. Next, we can go ahead and group the cabinet top and the bottom and I'll name this Cabinet. Next, let's select the jars and group them as you guessed it as Jars. We may as well add the glass shelves to the Cabinet group by simply drag and dropping it into the Cabinet group. Select all the knives and let's group them as Knives. Then, finally except for the table top object, select the remaining objects and group them as Cutting Board. Let's then from the Context menu sort the object manager in an ascending order. And I'll probably be doing this throughout the course as needed…
