Run Mathematica and enter commands

- You run Mathematica like you would any other program, and when you do, you will see the start screen. It welcomes you to Wolfram Mathematica 11, and also gives you options for how you can proceed within the program. In this movie, I will give you a brief overview of what you can do within the program and how Mathematica works. From the start screen, you can create a new document and you do that by going to this list box here, or list item, which currently displays New Document. If you click the list box's down arrow, then you'll see that you can create a notebook, a slideshow, a template, and so on. In this case, I'll just go ahead and click New Document to create a new mathematical window. And I'll expand that to take up the full screen. Now you're faced with what we all fear when we open a new program and that is an empty page. What you can do here, though, is enter commands and import data to start working.
