Create a paired bar chart
- [Voiceover] If you have ever worked with population data then you might have encountered the paired bar chart. The idea of a paired bar chart is that you have a vertical line that separates two distinct but closely related sets of data. One very common use of a paired bar chart is to distinguish males and females at different age levels within the population. For example, you might have the number of males in, say, the 70-75 year age range on the left side of the graph, and females from 70-75 on the right side of the graph at the same vertical point. In this movie, I will show you how to create paired bar charts, and how to add labels to the interior to make them easier to read. I'll start by putting in two lists of data. I'll call the first list "alist" then an equal sign, and enumerate the list within curly brackets, so I'll type a left curly bracket, and then I'll have three values: 14000 comma, 2402, so two thousand four oh two, comma, 5791 that's the end of the list so I'll…
