Create a list
- [Instructor] So far in this course, most of the values that we have worked with have been single values, such as numbers assigned to variables for a commission rate or some other aspect of a calculation. In this movie, I will show you how to add multiple values to a single variable by creating lists. I have opened a new Mathematica 11.0 notebook and I need to define my list. I'll start by typing a comma separated series within curly brackets. So, I could call it alist and then equal sign, then type a left curly bracket, and follow it with one, comma, one, comma, two comma, three, comma, five, comma, eight. and I'll close the list by typing a right curly bracket and shift + enter, and I see my output. Another way that you can create lists is by using the range function, which is very versatile and I'll show you three different ways to use it. I'll start by assigning blist a new variable equal to the output of Range, and that's r-a-n-g-e, with a capital R, followed by a left square…
