[Voiceover] Hi, my name is Karin Hutchinson and I'd like to welcome you to the course, Foundations of Algebra: Solving Equations. With my experiences in teaching algebra and tutoring students of varying abilities for over 12 years, I'm confident that I'll help you master equations too. We'll take it stepbystep and begin with the basics of solving onestep equations. As we progress into solving multistep equations, we'll focus on how to conquer equations that contain fractions and decimals. And just when you think you've mastered it all, I'll challenge you a little more and throw in a few equations with variables on both sides.
But no worries. If you're feeling intimidated by just the thought of solving equations, I've created an organizer that will guide you stepbystep through solving any multistep equation. By the end of this course, you'll be able to solve any equation with ease. And I bet, you might even think it's actually fun. So jump aboard, and let's get started solving equations.
