- [Voiceover] Hi. I'm J. Scott G, and welcome to Up and Running with MASSIVE. MASSIVE is flexible polyphonic synthesizer, made by native instruments, that uses wave table oscillators, two multi-mode filters with extensive routing capabilities, built-in effects, and a ton of modulation sources, including step sequencers, LFOs, envelopes, and many other features that I'll be covering throughout this course. This synth is a go-to solution for baselines, leads, pads, and more. It comes with a ton of presets that you can either use straight out of the box, or as a starting point to make your own sounds. MASSIVE may look daunting at first, I know it was for me, but I'd like to help you get pass its seemingly complex interface, and break each component down piece-by-piece so that you'll be on your way to being in control of one of the best soft-synths on the markets. So let's get up and running with MASSIVE.
