Insert effects, part one: Distortion

- So we've talked about most of the synthesis elements in Massive, and now it's time to work with some audio effects. Audio effects are something that I think are great to add to a synthesizer sound. They're not always a defining characteristic of the synthesizer sound. Often they can accentuate or elevate a sound. Sometimes if you get really heavy with effects you can really define a sound with them, but that's totally up to you. Let's go over to this rising chunker that we've got here. Let's open him up. And, I want to talk about the insert effects first. We've got the effects one and two over on the right hand side, those are the master effects. Down on the bottom though, we have insert effects. So, in both of these we have the same possible modules. We have simple delay, sample and hold, bit crusher, frequency shifter, a filter, sign shaper, parabolic shaper, hard clipper.
