The Filter section
- Let's get into the Filter section of Massive. Just like the Oscillators both of Massive's Filters can be turned on and off by clicking the button on the top left hand corner. So the first thing I wanna explain here is how the routing works. Massive's Filters can work in serial or in parallel. You can adjust that with this slider here. If it's all the way at the top the Filters work one after another. Meaning that Filter's 1 output gets routed into Filter 2 and then onward. If the slider is all the way at the bottom then both Filters work separately and in parallel and the signal moves on to the next stage. So now we'll move on the Filter menu. This is where you can choose from the various Filters available from Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass and so on and so forth. We'll just choose Lowpass for now.
