- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm J. Scott G. Welcome to EDM Production Techniques: Basslines. Electronic dance music or EDM has become an enormously popular style of music. I'm gonna share with you a bunch of techniques that I've learned over the last 20 years. I'll be taking you through bassline techniques in four different genres of EDM including, dubstep, electro house, progressive and trance, as well as drum and bass.
I'll be touching on concepts like layering, creative automation techniques, and sub-basses. I'll finish by showing you mixing techniques where I'll cover bussing, tape saturation, limiters, and more. So if you're ready to get started then let's get into EDM Production Techniques: Basslines.
