Alternate filter modes and modulation

- We've got a handle on the basic filter modes and modulation in Massive here, but one thing that I really want to talk about is some of the alternate filter modes, because that's where some of the real magic can happen. These are a lot of fun. So let's take the same key part, and I'm gonna go ahead and switch from Bandpass over to Bandreject. (techno sounds) Now, Bandreject sounds a lot different. It's really interesting, and essentially what it is is actually the opposite of a Bandpass filter, so with a Bandpass filter, we're only passing a certain range of frequencies that surround our cutoff frequency. With a Bandreject filter, it's actually as if that was sort of flipped upside down, where we have our full range of frequencies, but there's sort of a notch cut out of the middle. We can change the bandwidth, just like we can with the Bandpass filter, and we can change the resonance of that cavern, if you will. Let's kill the modulation for now, I'm just gonna mute that, and what…
