At times in a prototype, you may have screens that require scrolling. When building out your prototype, this may mean that you want to have a header and/or footer area that is static (stays in place as other content scrolls beneath). In this video, you will fix the header and footer for a screen in your design that requires scrolling.
- [Narrator] So next we're going to add…some scrolling content which I think is really pretty cool.…And we're going to deal with what is called…a fixed header and a fixed footer.…And we're going to do it for these two screens.…For Order and Order-Selected, so we're going to have…to kind of replicate what we do on one screen…to another screen.…Come to the Order screen as long as you…still have your app open here.…And tap or click on edit there.…And you're going to see we've got our hotpots…already which is pretty cool.…We're going to see that this screen,…this image that I created,…is actually taller than the typical one.…
I'm going to zoom out a little bit…just so you can see the whole thing.…You can see the plus and minus over here.…And what we're going to do is…we're going to make it so that…this is supposed to fit in the screen, basically, right?…So, we're supposed to see part of this.…I'm going to make it so that that header…and the footer, these areas here and here,…actually stay in place.…That way this content will scroll underneath it.…
