- Before you start your marketing efforts, it's important to have an idea of the results you can expect. Depending on your objectives, the metrics that can help you evaluate success will differ. After this video, you'll be able to track and evaluate the right metrics for your marketing goals. When you think of your social media marketing efforts, they typically have one of three objectives. First, there are the campaigns that are meant to raise awareness. Next, you have campaigns that focus on engagement. And finally campaigns that aim for conversion, like a sale, or an app download. You'll find that most social media advertising platforms make you choose an objective for your campaign from these three buckets.
