A new perspective
- We all have different perspectives on life. And we can leverage that awareness within a brainstorming session. The idea here is to consider how different professions or personas would view your problem, and how they might go about resolving it. This technique is incredibly useful when you're stumped, or when you're weary that the solution you've identified is too easy and you're likely missing something. It's also a great exercise for vetting ideas and putting concepts through the ringer before you commit to moving forward with one. This is a straightforward brainstorming process. You only need a surface to write on. If you have a large group of more than 10, consider breaking that group into smaller teams, and allowing those teams to work on the problem collaboratively before you discuss as a larger group.
