Which social platform is best

- Each social media platform has a different demographic in their user base, and you should consider those demographics when choosing a platform, or multiple platforms, to build a brand presence on. I'm going to focus on the four main platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, in depth. I'll also review Snapchat and Pinterest as alternatives to the main four. At the time of this course, Twitter has close to 400 million users. The platform's gender ratio is evenly split between males and females. It tends to attract an older demographic, over 30, for the majority of its users, who are interested in news, trending stories, or keywords. A subset of the platform's users that are under 21 are interested in memes or engaging with any Twitter thread or Moment that trends. Twitter is hands-down the best place to reach writers for major and minor publications directly. At the time of this course, Instagram has close to 120 million users.
