- On the 6th of July, 2005 a fun loving young professional woman called Martine Wright went out with her friends to celebrate a special event that had occurred in London that day. Because on that day, the 6th of July, 2005 London had been awarded the Olympic and Paralympic games for 2012. It was an amazing moment. I remember it. I was in London at the time. So she went out after work and she partied. She partied hard. Actually, she probably partied just a little bit too hard, because the next morning her usual routine was knocked slightly. She didn't catch the train she usually catched to work. She had to catch a later one. And unfortunately, on that same train on the 7th of July, 2005 was one of the terrorists who was involved in the 7/7 bombing attacks in London.
