- [Instructor] When I first started blogging, I didn't consider myself tech-savvy at all. So I chose Blogger, because it was easy to set up and to use. And as you can see it's been a while since I posted on there. Later, I switched to WordPress, because it offered a more robust content management system, but the point is to choose a blog platform that works for your business. There are a lot of good options available, including WordPress, Blogger, Wix, and Squarespace, to name just a few. WordPress, Blogger, and Wix offer free and paid options. Squarespace is paid, and like Wix offers an easy to use drag and drop visual interface. I like WordPress for its features, and how it's set up to optimize content. It's also the number one content management system, and powers 30% of all websites. The free version is WordPress.com, and the paid version is WordPress.org. The difference?
