(upbeat music) - Whenever you think of marketing to the younger generations, obviously you think about focusing on features, benefits, the cool factor, 'cause that's important to them. But there's something else that marketers, I don't feel, are zeroing in on when it comes to Gen Z, and that is price matters. And in fact, 89% of Gen Z consider themselves price-conscious shoppers. So what does that mean? You need to focus on price much earlier. Now you might be thinking, well everyone's worried about price. That's true, but Gen Z is on the radar at a younger age. Let's think about why. For starters, they came of age during the recent recession, so their dinner time conversations were really scary and often about the value of money.
