Moving charts to PowerPoint

- [Instructor] Most of the time you'll be putting your charts into slides, that's a mixed bag with lots of little things that can mess up formatting and leave you grinding your teeth to nubs. I'm going to go over two ways to insert visualizations into a program like PowerPoint. If you have to you can use a screen grab, most people do, but I don't suggest it and here's why. Look at the graph on the left, that's a screen grab, see how it's all blurry? It's a raster image not a vector graphic, it might look okay on a small screen, but if you display it on a high res screen or projector it's going to look blurry, what you want is the sharper result on the right. Getting that is pretty straightforward, I'm going to show you how right now. In Excel click on the chart you want to copy, copy it, switch to PowerPoint, and click paste, that's it, you're done. And this does a few great things, first it's a vector graphic with real fonts, so it's going to look great on a big screen at the next…
