But keep in mind, this not a set-it-and-forget-it proposition. So let me show you how to limit online tracking and advertiser access to your personal data. The first step is to consider your browser and how you use it. All of the major browsers, like Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer, or Edge, are secure and have settings to disallow third-party cookies. And there are a host of plugins available to make each one more secure. But all of these browsers are owned and offered by the big tech companies, Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
