- You may find this hard to believe, but there was a time when I thought I knew everything I needed to work in PR. Of course, I may have been naive, but I had years of experience under my belt and many successes. That all changed with digital and social media. I discovered there were so many things I didn't know or had to learn. I felt overwhelmed, but I decided to do something productive about it. I started reading blogs and tech publications, following the platforms and thought leaders, finding out about the latest digital trends, writing about them and testing them out.
It made me feel like a student again and I loved that. Hi, I'm Martin Waxman, an independent PR agency owner. I conduct social media trainings and workshops for companies of all sizes and I'm a lifelong learner and digital trend hunter. I'm excited about creating this series on digital marketing trends. We'll be covering what's new, but more important, how the changes affect your business and what other companies are doing to adapt. Every two weeks, we release a new video and that gives me even more motivation to keep up with the latest and greatest and share what I find with you.
