- How will you create or source your content? This question is key to answer as you plan the details of your content marking program. I've seen plenty of companies start strong with their content marketing and then fizzle out because their plan to create or source content wasn't sustainable. So, to help you avoid that mistake, I'm going to share the three Ps of creating and sourcing content. The first P is producing the content in-house. This means you hire employees and freelancers to form an in-house team focused on your content marketing program. For example, Fidelity Investments built a large in-house agency and studio that produces both their advertising and their content marketing. This option can take time to establish, but can pay off over time by being efficient and cost-effective.
