How to start a community from scratch

- How do you create a community from scratch? There are three steps. The first step is to define the demographics of your community. This is their age range, whether they're male or female, their normal online habits, likes and dislikes, key words, and socioeconomic status, and location. The second step is to visit similar online communities that have the same demographic that you'd like to target. By joining and actively participating in similar communities, you'll be able to see how they engage their community and pick up best practices. The third step is to recruit people into your online community. You'll be doing simple outreach to people who fit your defined demographics.
