Embed and optimize video on your website
- [Instructor] Adding videos to YouTube or other video-hosting websites is not the only option you have for gaining visibility in the rankings. You can also embed your videos directly on your website by hosting the videos on your server or through a third party. Some of these third-party websites provide the coding and markup necessary for the added SEO boost of serving video content on your website. Or you can do this by yourself by using schema.org markup. Schema.org is a collaborative open programming code vocabulary, or a library, that's shared by Google Microsoft, Yahoo, Yandex, and more.
