Define journey stages
- A decision journey stage represents each single step, each specific phase in a customer's decision journey process. Defining these stages requires insight. That's a deep understanding of your customer's point of view, how they approach making a decision about what to buy. Customers have different decision journeys for different products and services. The decision stages for a big purchase, like a car, would be really different than for a small purchase, like a candy bar. A clear definition of your customer's decision stages will help you decide how best to connect and engage them. You'll understand their mindset as they progress through the process which helps you choose effective marketing touch points and create relevant messaging.
