- [Instructor] When using Facebook Ads Manager to manage Instagram advertising campaigns, it's a good idea to make use of the Custom Reports feature in the Ads Reporting section of Ads Manager. From here, click on the Create Report button to start creating a custom report. You can use the Columns dropdown to customize which data fields you'd like displayed. Facebook provides a number of pre-created reports. By default, we're looking at the performance report. To customize a particular report, we can click on the Customize Columns option from the dropdown list.
On the right side of the window, you can view the columns that are currently being displayed in the report. You can change the order that the columns appear in the finalized report simply by dragging and dropping. In the middle of our screen, we can see additional metrics that can be added to the report. So in our custom report, we can add Cost per 1,000 People Reached and click-through rate. We can also delete some columns. Once we've finished, we'll click Apply at the bottom right, then we'll click Save Changes and give our report a descriptive name so that we can find it later on.
We can go back to Manage Reports and you'll see our report in the list. We've just created a custom report for our Instagram advertising campaigns here in Facebook Ads Manager.
