The Today view in the Notification Center displays several widgets—little bits of information from your applications that will give you an useful information about your day. We'll look at managing widgets by adding new widgets, removing widgets you don't need, and changing the order.
- [Narrator] So far we've only seen one part…of Notification Center.…In this movie I want to focus on the Today view,…which is a section of the Notification Center…dedicated to giving you a quick glance…at important bits of information…that you need throughout the day.…So of course I'm going to go into Notification Center…by clicking on this button in the menu bar…in the top right corner.…And I want to remind you if you don't remember…Notification Center has two different views,…the Today view and Notifications,…and I can jump back and forth between them.…We're gonna focus on the Today view in this movie.…
So if I scroll through here…you can see just a bunch of…valuable little bits of information.…I can see the date all the way up at the top.…I can see my calender appointments for the day,…a weather report from my current location…and some other common locations,…stock report and so on.…Each of these little bits of information…is called a widget,…and I'm sure you might have guessed,…you can make adjustments to these widgets…
