- [Instructor] This movie will introduce…the basics of signing into your computer…and shutting it down when you're finished.…Every time you turn on your computer,…you will start at this sign-in screen.…You just need to select your user account from this screen.…This is the account that you created…when you did the first time set-up of your computer.…If you have more than one user account set up,…choose the one you want to sign into.…I only have one account set-up, which is typical,…so I'm going to click on that account,…then put in the account password.…This keeps your computer secure.…
You can only use the computer…if you have the password for that account.…So, I'll type in my password, press Return…and after a few moments, I'm signed in…and I can get to work with whatever I'm doing today.…But let's talk about when…you're finished using the computer.…To see our options for that,…you need to go to the System Menu.…That means you need to click on this little Apple logo…in the top left corner, which opens up this menu.…
